By Cruitbuck:

“I had little faith in a Char-Broil product. I’ve always purchased Webber, or other more costly grills. However, I needed a small but useful electric grill for my third floor condo patio. Assembly was straight forward in about 16 or so steps. The screws and other hardware were of exceptional quality. I was impressed. In about 45 minutes while watching LSU play Jacksonville State, it was done. I put it out on the patio for a test burn in for about an hour on 5 or high. In about 30 minutes it reach about 450 degrees. Since it’s a 110VAC appliance, I knew the warm up would be slow. It was sufficient. Turn the grill on a few minutes before you prepare your food. By the time the meat and veggies are ready, it’s hot.

One important note that at first I saw as a flaw, the rear half of the grill is very hot, being heating element is more concentrated there. So it gave me a hot searing surface and a slow cooking surface toward the front. Awesome for me. So I’ll be commenting more as I experiment with techniques, materials, and ingredients.

Over all, well made and easy to use. I love it.”

RRP: $106.10– Amazon Price :$86.99 +free shipping (18% off)

Grilling really can’t get much easier than this. After assembling the grill (which takes only a few minutes), simply plug it in and allow about 10 minutes to fully preheat the surface while you gather your steaks, kebabs, or whatever’s to be grilled. The electric heat has an adjustable range from low (for keeping food warm) to high (for searing steaks). The nonstick grill surface not only means you can use a minimum of added fat, but it also makes cleanup a cinch. The surface has a subtle slope, with channels that draw accumulated fat or other liquids into a tray just below the surface. The high domed and vented lid helps create a circular flow of hot air to ensure even cooking–particularly important for a large roast or whole chicken.

Its main features are:

  • No-fuss grilling made easy, for use indoors or outside
  • The grill surface stands about 6 inches high; with the pedestal, it stands about 2-1/2 feet high
  • Uses electric heat, with adjustable range from low to high
  • Sloping grate base draws fat away from food to collect in easy-to-empty tray
  • Product Built to North American Electrical Standards

By Eddie B. :

“Great product, very convenient and also very sturdy, stable and easy to clean. Can be used indoors, but things like burgers, steaks, etc will smoke a bit. I keep mine just inside my garage so I always grill regardless of weather.”

By Val Z. :

“Our new apartment will not let us have charcoal or propane grills. We’re big BBQ fans and were determined to find a way to keep enjoying our favorite Summer foods. We had had a George Foreman counter top grilling machine in the past so we looked to see if there were any sort of electric grills and were so excited when we found this grill! We bought it before Memorial Day & had our annual BBQ. All of our family and us LOVED how our food came out! One of the best parts is that this grill can be used with or without the stand. We used this grill right on our kitchen table and then just set it on the counter out of the way. My husband’s favorite thing was this was crazy easy to clean! We are so happy & ready for all the upcoming Summer holidays!”

By P. Robb:

‘I love this grill, it’s perfect if you are cooking for up to four people. This grill will use either type of the disposable gas canisters (a nice thing if you want to take it to the beach), but I bought an optional hose to hook it up to a standard refillable tank too. You can also buy a folding cart, but I already had a suitable cart. The best part is the super high quality Porcelain enamelled cast iron cooking grates, and it’s in two pieces so it fits in your sink, awesome! With only one stainless steel burner at 8500 BTU, I was concerned whether or not I would be able to properly burn my steak, no problem, but you do want to follow directions and preheat for 10-15 min. it’s perfect. I was on the fence, whether I was going to pop for an infrared grillez or this one, but the clean up and the reported malfunctions on the infrared grille reviews scared me off.”

By Cathy Burns :

“I’ve had this grill for about five years. It’s simply great for steaks, pork chops, chicken breasts and brats. I added a temperature gauge to the lid which is a big help when adjusting the temp. A fourteen ounce butane tank lasts four to five sessions. The only downside with this grill is that it is almost impossible to properly clean. The instructions don’t even hit at how to clean it. If you’re a clean freak you may want to consider something else.”
